Tell us a little about why you decided to make a change to your lifestyle / health / body?
So i originally started using The Body Guide around July 2016 however i really made a complete lifestyle change this February when The CE 8 Week Challenge started, I thought what a great opportunity to motivate myself to get ‘Wedding Ready’. Our Bali Wedding was on May 24 and I wanted to know if tried my hardest to feel amazing and be the most confident person I could be on this special day.
What were you struggling with before?
Sooo… I LOVE food, ALL food, healthy or not i eat a LOT and didn’t have a great love for exercising, i couldn’t find the right balance i would go through bursts of being super healthy then indulge for a few weeks until i felt sluggish and guilty so my struggle was balance.
You look incredible! You’ve obviously been living by #theCElife philosophies and practices – and stuck to it! What was it about The Body Guide that you found made it easy to make a change and stay consistent?
The CE gave me that balance, showed me how to eat without being super restrictive, and the workouts weren’t all ‘go, go, go’ they remind you to take the time for your body to recharge…taking the time to stretch and even go for a walk, I used to think if i was only eating a certain amount of calories or doing super intensive workouts i wasn’t going to get anywhere well you proved me wrong! haha I honestly can say this is the greatest I’ve ever felt and looked! My favorite recipes are the lamb meatballs and shakshuka eggs but to be honest they are all pretty great! and did i mention easy?! I love cooking but some nights when you just can’t be bothered after work there was really quick and simple recipes to keep you going.
Tell us a few things about what you love about how you feel and look, now you’ve been living #theCElife for 8 weeks.
I love how strong i feel and my body shape has really change a lot in the last year, I’m almost never bloated and not as wobbly around my belly haha. Getting closer to my thirtys I actually didn’t think i had it in me to progress much more especially around my stomach area, I’m pretty proud of myself and how i haven’t just made it a fad and went back to my old habits since our wedding finished, even when we were Bali and Vietnam, yes i indulged a few times but i did make conscious healthy choices more often than not. Not sure how many weeks it has been but id say I’ve been giving #theCElife all I’ve got since February and that isn’t finishing yet!
