Sarah Czarnuch

1As model for Windsor Smith and a host of others at Melbourne Fashion Week 2016, former Miss Tourism Australia (2014) and growing Instagram profile, Sarah Czarnuch is fast becoming one of Australia’s hottest models. The bubbly, eloquent, career driven babe talks to us about what being one of The CE Women means to her and shares her views on the importance of living a life of true health.

What does being one of “The CE Women” mean to you?

The concept behind CE is one which I have practised myself for many years. Having an all round focus on nutrition, fitness, mind and body is something I firmly belief in and an approach I’m so exited to share more about.

What does being ‘truly healthy’ mean to you?

To me being ‘truly healthy’ involves a number of important aspects.
It’s a focus on health and nutrition yes, but also coupled with a positive mindset and approach to life. It’s a holistic lifestyle approach and something that needs to be practised day in day out.

What do you love about The Body Guide & Handbook?

I love how accessible and easy it is to implement all of the strategies into your everyday life. The all round lifestyle approach ensures that health is the key focus and priority and is easy to achieve and maintain. Consistency has always been my favoured method in terms of achieving a healthy lifestyle and I believe the Body Guide & handbook aligns well with that ideology.

The CE loves to celebrate inspirational women. Who inspires you, and why?

Elle Macpherson #thebody
Physical aesthetics aside, Elle has always been an inspiration to me primarily because of her own personal approach to all round health. Not only does she epitomise the results of an active lifestyle and correct nutrition but she has also parlayed her notoriety into a thriving business career. Her entrepreneurial attributes coupled with her focus on health and wellness saw her create the alkalising ‘super elixir’ showing just how important true health is to her and something I find incredibly inspirational.

What does a typical day in the life of Sarah Czarnuch look like?

Hard to define a typical day for me but most days, start off with a 5am wake up, followed by a 6am gym sesh. Home for breakfast and a quick shower then off to work for the day! I try to get home and prep my dinner before heading off to a yoga or body balance class just to wind down. Then dinner and Netflix!
I’m also currently studying Naturopathic Nutrition so I’ll try and sneak in a bit of study over lunch of after dinner.

2Is there anything you dislike and think needs to change in the health and fitness industry?

The assertion that there is one optimal appearance for a health physique! We are all completely different, the way we build muscle, our body composition and our metabolism. As long as you are living a healthy lifestyle, engaging in regular activity and fuelling your body it shouldn’t matter what you look like. Prioritise health and fitness, not measurements or weight!

You stay healthy, fit and look good all year round. What inspires you to live this way everyday?

In all honestly its because of the way it makes me feel. When I’m looking after myself, eating right, exercising, drinking water and getting plenty of sleep my body just thrives. I have more energy and I’m just in a happier frame of mind. I’m also a goal setter, I love to set myself little boxes to tick throughout the year. At the moment I’m working my way into a full split, so whenever Im having a lazy day and feel like skipping a yoga class that keeps me motivated to toughen up and get through it.

What’s your favourite quote?

“It’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice.

De-stressing, recovering and taking the time to regenerate is often an overlooked aspect of health. What is your ‘go-to’ regeneration activity?

I do a Les Mills class called Body Balance! I’m absolutely obsessed with it. It’s a combination or Yoga Thai Chi and Pilates all to pre choreographed music. I lived overseas I’m Singapore last year and was still able to be a participant as it’s exactly the same releases world wide which means you can practice at any Les Mills affiliated gym which is super handy.

What’s the best piece of advice you would give to women today?

The only person you should compete with is yourself! A real turning point for me emotionally was when I made the conscious decision to stop comparing myself to others! Focus on yourself and do the absolute best you can do, and I promise you will be far more contented with life.
