She shares her thoughts on what it means to be truly health as well as what being one of The CE Women means to her.
 

What does being one of “The CE Women” mean to you?

To be a part of ‘The CE Women’ means to be nourishing your mind body and soul to live a healthy vibrant life. Being a CE woman shows the world that you care for your body enough to make a change, make a difference. We are living proof of a healthy wellbeing and that its not hard, everyone can do it! I am proud to be one of The CE Women, to be a helping hand to those around me living out a truly balanced healthy lifestyle and LOVING IT!

What does being ‘truly healthy’ mean to you?

Truly healthy means nourishing your body from head to toe with the most wholesome organic foods and products to help you live your life in a vibrant manner. There is nothing worse than filling your body with junk … you’re only going to get out what you put in. Another thing with being truly healthy is not just with your food, but also with your lifestyle, fitness and most importantly mental state. I cannot stress enough how important having a healthy mind is to our lives because it determines the rest of our actions to do with our health. Fill yourself with love so that you may overflow with love onto others.

What do you love about The Body Guide & Handbook?

These days’ people can get so bogged down in health and fitness fads that they lose sight of what’s really important and what is true to your body. There are an incredible amount of products out there that are unhealthy quick fixes to try and enhance your appearance but nothing ever works! Whereas The Body Guide & Handbook is a beautifully laid out step by step guide for people to truly understand how to live out your life being healthy. IT IS LITERALLY A BODY BIBLE, everything you need to know is in this book and it is not confused with sponsored products. It is pure and it’s a new beginning for all those who are a part of this beautiful movement.

image4The CE loves to celebrate inspirational women. Who inspires you, and why?

There are a lot of people who inspire me, considering I do modelling I aspire to models who have conquered so much in their career and have made an empire from it. People like Elle Macpherson, Jennifer Hawkins, Miranda Kerr etc. all of these women have their head on their shoulders and have multiple businesses and conquered so much throughout their modelling career.

Although one person who outshines them all is my mum, she is one person who continually shines in my life every single day. She has taught me everything I know today and has been my mentor and someone who I look up to every single day. We owe it to our mums. She’s a mother, a best friend and my mentor I wouldn’t want it any other way!

What’s the best piece of advice you would give to women today?

One of the best pieces of advice I would give to women would be to wake up with a heart full of gratitude and peace. With these two elements it is impossible for you to be unhappy or down. It is important to take every day as a new fresh start and never look upon your past as a disappointment. Every day is a new beginning to make a difference whether that be in yourself, home, work and even your world.

Why is your health a priority for you?

My health is definitely a priority for me, I have been through ups and downs with my health just trying to find quick fixes but nothing has ever worked. Now I have found a beautiful ground to stand on with an optimum balance for my health and wellness. I am still learning every single day but health always comes first. I’m that person who will spend all her money on organic skincare, oils, fresh fruit and veg and Pilates classes and never go out partying haha

Food nourishment is a massive factor for me; I am passionate about health and wellness and believe it is incredibly important to nourish your body with the best wholesome food. I watch a lot of food documentaries to see how the body works, and how food evolution has changed. I get so intrigued on the whole world of food. I’m a secret nerd for it all!

What’s your favourite quote, and why?

“If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sun beams and you will always look lovely” – Roald Dahl
I love this quote because it is true! Having a positive mind is so incredibly important for living out a healthy lifestyle, without a positive headspace all other aspects of your life start to become out of order including your eating habits and fitness. Naturally people draw nearer to vibrant people so giving off those positive vibes and bouncing them off other people will make you so much more beautiful. Plus I love this quote because it’s cute as!

image10Is there a greater cause that you want to use your online influence for? If so, what is it?

At first social media was just a perfect platform for me to launch my career in modelling and putting myself out there in the public eye. It really is a highly prominent tool these days for exposure! Although seeing how social media works I now see it as an opportunity to promote a positive image for girls around the world! People follow certain people on social media as they look up to them as a mentor or as something they aspire to be like. I want to be that but in a more organic way. I want to use social media to promote a positive image to girls showing them that it is so positive to be content in their own body not aspire to something that is unreachable. Every girl is different and they should be promoting their “own” image creating something new for everyone to see. I want to use my platform as a warm welcoming helping hand, to be their sister or someone they can go to for when they need a shoulder to lean on. Someday I hope to start my own business and endorse wellness from the inside out.

De-stressing, recovering and taking the time to regenerate is often an overlooked aspect of health. What is your ‘go-to’ regeneration activity?

There are a couple of things that I go to when its time for me to de-stress, recover and regenerate! I love to go on little adventures to secret locations and go for a spontaneous walk to a beautiful look out. I love to watch health and wellness documentaries (only when I can’t get outside). I love to read motivational self help guide books ( really anything to do with health and wellness). I love to cook wholesome organic dishes with my mum. I love going to Pilates I find that is a great relaxant and helps me get my body into shape whilst also shifting my mind back into perspective, I always walk out of my classes with positive peaceful headspace.

Having ‘strength’ can mean so many things…what does it mean to you?

Having strength can mean so many things and a lot of people immediately think of muscular strength, such as body builders. But when I think of strength I think of mental strength. I think the power of the mind is so incredibly important and to develop a strong way of thinking helps you in a lot of areas in life. In my work in particular, I have to be strong not necessarily physically, but more mentally. I cop a lot of negative criticism not only through modelling but also through social media. You have to have a strong spirit and learn that these people’s opinions don’t matter and its only going to make you stronger. When I get criticised I am always asking for more not because I want to know what they are saying, its more to help me improve myself. You won’t get anywhere in life if you take every bad thing someone has ever said or done to you on board. You have to overcome such hurdles; therefore you become stronger in yourself every time. Be strong and stand up.
